Straight Path Proverbs 3:6
“In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight.” — Proverbs 3:6
It is difficult for those of you who do not believe in Jesus Christ to understand those that do. We get that. Oddly enough all believers believed just as you do now. That it is all bunk. So what changed?
This proverb from the book of Proverbs in the Bible is telling us that we should acknowledge Him, Jesus in all of our ways. This acknowledgement means to experience and to learn to grow in His ways. Jesus gave a command to those willing to believe in and follow. His command is that each of us to should learn love one another as our own self.
God is love and therefore as believers we must get on and stay on the road to learn how to become better at loving others. It is a process, a journey. If you believed in it you would strive for the same. The journey’s ultimate goal is for us to get to know LOVE, and become LOVE, as this is the spiritual destiny for those who choose it. Yes, each of us has to choose to believe that Jesus is God and by extension Love; and that his sacrifice was for you and me.
Today the road your on may be crooked, full of potholes, and obstacles. The good news is you can exit that road and get on a new one. The straight path that is laid out for those who choose to know love and become love. Imagine a road where everyone loves each other as their own self. It’s makes it more difficult to run the others off the road if we truly loved once another. This is why we bother to believe in something more and better than our human selves. This is why we choose to believe in Jesus’ straight path.
